Service Desk Specialist on the front line.

As part of first-level support at Haufe Group, I am often the first point of contact for IT issues of all kinds. My day-to-day work is incredibly varied: from simple issues such as defective mice to complex problems that we pass on to specialized teams, we cover a broad spectrum. I also deal with issues such as laptop leasing exchanges and asset lifecycle management - always with the aim of providing our colleagues with quick and effective solutions.

I find the mix of direct contact with our users and the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of a large company particularly exciting. Whether on campus or working from home, the team spirit is palpable everywhere. I was warmly welcomed right from the start, appreciate the open exchange with my colleagues and enjoy being able to work in such a modern environment.

The best thing about my job? Seeing how relieved our users are when a problem is solved - no matter how big or small. This feeling motivates me every day!

Shaping security instead of being the security police.

As Information Security Officer at Haufe Group, I am part of the Corporate Infosec team and am responsible for information security for one of our business groups - Haufe X360. My job is to ensure that our products not only comply with the applicable security standards, but can also survive on the market in the long term. I actively support my business group in managing risks and developing solutions that meet both legal and customer requirements.

My day-to-day work is incredibly varied: I work conceptually on security strategies and processes, coordinate closely with my business group and at the same time act as an interface between my team and other areas such as cybersecurity. I find it particularly exciting to translate complex regulatory requirements into concrete measures - always with the aim of creating security as added value for the product.
